Please keep the following information in mind when the installation and use of
GotoMyPC:

GotoMyPC useful terms
Access Code - The access code is a unique password that users set up for each
host PC. He must contain at least eight characters long and include letters and numbers.
Users enter their PIN each time they reach their host PC remotely.
Account Password - The password is used to connect to the website GotoMyPC. He must be at least eight characters long and contain letters and numbers.
Client computer - The client computer is the computer used to access the host
PC. It may be any computer connected to the Internet with a Windows (R) or Java ™ - has

Pseudo computer - The computer nickname is the name given to a host PC during installation of software GotoMyPC. Surnoms help identify the different

PC host - The host PC is the computer you want to access remotely. You GotoMyPC install the software on the host PC. The host PC is a unique and
specific computer.
Host PC image - The host PC image is the image of your desktop host that
appears in the Window display.
A password-time - A password-time offer an additional level of security for
users. This function will defeat keyboard-sniffer or strike-recorder software.
RADIUS - RADIUS is a two-factor authentication method based on something you
know (a password or PIN) and something you have (authenticity), providing a more robust level of user authentication. RADIUS is available on GotoMyPC business.
Session - A session refers to the time when you are remotely connected to your
PC host.
System Tray - the system tray represents the state of the service GotoMyPC and is used to access GotoMyPC preference and setting options. To access system preferences, right-click on the system tray and select Preferences.

Viewer - The viewer window is displayed on the client computer in which the
host PC office opens. The Viewer window has its own title and menus.

Establishment GotoMyPC
Before you can access your PC remotely, you must first create your account (the
first time users), GotoMyPC install the software and leave the PC accessible. To do this,
you will need be on the PC and e-mail and password that you used to register.
Note: To enable all the features and functionality, GotoMyPC must be installed
with administrator rights, therefore, Corporate and users of Pro please contact your administrator for help, in some
cases, your administrator May install GotoMyPC business for you using a remote installation.
Create your account (the first time users)
To create your account
1. Go to your email account and opening the e-mail titled Set Up GotoMyPC….
2. Click on the link in the email to activate your account (the first link in the
email). A new browser window opens and invites you to create your account.
3. Enter your name and surname, create and confirm your password, click Submit.


Develop a host PC
To set up a host PC for remote access
First step - download the software
1. Be the PC you want to access remotely, it will be the host PC.
2. Open a browser window and go to www.gotomypc.com.
3. Enter your e-mail address and account password and click Connect.
4. First-time users, or users without putting up PC, click on the Install button
GotoMyPC. For the former users who have more than one licence may add other PC host this screen.
5. Click Yes or a certificate of the security warning - screen to begin
downloading the GotoMyPC software.

Second stage - Install the software 1. Click Next to begin the installation.
2. Select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" if you intend to use the Fast
User Switching Change of office during this session and click Finish.
Note: If you use the security or firewall software, you must permanently
GotoMyPC can connect to Internet. See use firewall with GotoMyPC section for more information.
Note: If you are a user GotoMyPC business in an environment that requires
authentication to access the Internet, you will be prompted to enter your authentication during
installation. Please contact your administrator for more details.
3. When prompted, enter your e-mail and password account (the same you use to connect to the website GotoMyPC) and click OK.
4. When prompted, enter a nickname for the host PC and, if necessary, selected account to which this machine should belong. Give the PC an access code,
confirm access code and click OK.
Note: If you forget your PIN or desire to change it, you can quickly create a
new one from your host PC. Please see the section entitled Lost host PC Access Code for details.
Note: For the highest level of security, we recommend that your access code to
be different from your account password.
5. The icon will appear in the system tray to let you know that the service is
running.



Let your host PC accessible
To access your PC remotely host a client computer, you must ensure that your Host PC meets the following three conditions:
1. The host PC is turned on.
2. The host PC is connected to the Internet with a connection.
3. GotoMyPC The service is running.
Note: To help ensure security, May you want to lock your computer before you
leave unattended.
Note: Since GotoMyPC not require the display on your PC monitor host, you want
to turn it off May before leaving for saving energy. You can also set your monitor to turn off
automatically after a period of time in the Display Properties control panel.

Access to your PC host GotoMyPC
Once GotoMyPC is set up and run on your PC, you can access immediately from almost any other client computer with Windows or a Java browser that is
connected to the Internet, such as computers at airport kiosks, Internet cafes, hotels, etc.
For remote access to your PC, you must be a client computer (any other computer that the PC you just created) and you'll need to know your e-mail address,
password and access code.
Go to your host PC
For remote access to your host PC
1. In your Web browser, type www.gotomypc.com.
2. Enter your e-mail account and password and click Connect.
3. If prompted, select the account you want to access and click OK (applies only
if you have multiple accounts associated with an e-mail). This will instruct your My Computers.
4. To the right of the nickname of the computer you want to connect, click Connect button.
5. If prompted, click Run to download the GotoMyPC Viewer. PocketView users will click on the Download link to start the download.
6. When prompted, enter the access code for the host PC and click OK.
7. The host PC image will appear in the Viewer window. You are now connected to your host PC and are ready to start access to all your
files, applications and e-mail as if you were sitting at your PC!


Note: If a PC is the status offline, you will not be able to access the host
computer. To go to a host PC, you must leave the PC and connected to the Internet with GotoMyPC running.
Note: If you are a company GotoMyPC and your host is a PC that is accessible by
another GotoMyPC user, "session" appears in the box connection. If you choose to connect to a PC
if it is in session, the session progress will be terminated. Keep in mind that the session will appear in the
notification until the first user ends the connection to the host PC and you refresh your browser.

Ensemble Recherche
If your account has more than 10 PC accessible via the same e-mail, you can
quickly locate a host PC favorite with the Quick search function.
To set a quick search
1. Select a number Searches fast as you join in a common search.
2. In the search field, enter a host PC nickname or part of a nickname if you use

3. Click on the Set Quick Find button to search for future use.
4. The next time you want to search stored on the computer list, simply select the number Quick search for your PC host (s).


Note: This feature is limited to 5 saved searches, but a number can be

Unlock your remote host PC
If your PC is locked, May require additional measures to unlock it. Your
operating system determines the method unlock.
To unlock 2000, XP Professional or Vista use the Send Ctrl-Alt-Del function
1. From the viewer menu, select Tools, then select Send Ctrl-Alt-Del, or you can
click on the Send Ctrl-Alt-Del button in the upper right corner of the window of the viewer.






2. Unlock your PC as you would normally use your network and a password.


To unlock XP (or XP Professional with Fast User Switching)
1. If the screen saver is running, move the mouse to turn it off.
2. This displays the screen.
3. Connect to your PC as you would normally.



Distance lock your host PC
When you're using your PC, we recommend that you lock your computer using protect your data. You can set preferences for GotoMyPC lock automatically
disconnect. If you want to do it manually, your operating system will be based on the
method you use to lock your PC.
To lock Windows 2000, XP and Vista Professional
1. Complete all activities on your PC host.
2. From the viewer menu, select Tools, then select Send Ctrl-Alt-Del. Or click Submit Ctrl-Alt-Del button in the upper right corner of the window of the
viewer.
This will bring up the screen of Windows security.






3. Click on the button locking Computer.
Your computer is now locked.

To lock Windows XP Home (or XP Professional with Fast User Switching)
1. Complete all activities on your PC host.
2. Click the Windows Start button.
3. Select Out.
4. Select Change user.
Your computer is now locked.



End your connection GotoMyPC
Before disconnecting your PC, you want May to the first lock your computer
using ensure your safety. You can customize GotoMyPC on the Security tab in the
preferences window locks automatically to your host computer is disconnected.
Note: If you listen to music on your host PC, be sure to stop music before
disconnecting your session. If you do not stop the music on the host PC before disconnecting, music will no
longer be cut and could be heard by very close to your host PC.
There are three ways to end your connection GotoMyPC.

Resize your window display
You can choose to have the viewer look like a window on your desktop or in full
screen picture.
.. In the window mode: The Viewer appears as a window on your desktop like any
other application. The viewer menu and controls Windows in the upper right corner of
your screen are always available and you can resize the window of the viewer like
any other application window.
.. In full-screen mode: The viewer develops full-screen and the viewer menu
auto-cache at the top of the screen. A tab of the same color as your window is displayed
on Viewer top of the screen, the tab provides access to the viewer menu if needed.


To start a full-screen mode
.. From the viewer menu, choose View, then full screen. This expands the window of the viewer in full screen.



To end full-screen mode
1. Move your mouse pointer on the window Viewer tab at the top of the screen.
The viewer menu is displayed.
2. Select View, then the window.
This cancels the selection of full-screen mode and refer you to a resizable
Viewer window.



Resize your host PC image
You can choose to change the image size of your host PC office in the viewer. You have options to choose adjust your image size to actual size, scale or Fit To Zoom.
.. Actual Size: Displays the real image of the host PC in the office of display and require you to scroll through May.
.. Throughout Fit: Displays the image of Desktops wide to fit the whole screen in the viewer.

Multi-Monitor Support
GotoMyPC supports multiple screens connected to a single host PC. You can
choose monitor (s) access while in session.
Connecting to a multi-monitor host PC
1. Log in to connect to your host PC. The default screen is your primary monitor.
2. To select another screen, click the arrow on each side the display window or click the + left or right arrow button on the keyboard.
Note: For the + function keys to work, "Pass Windows keys to the host
computer must be unchecked on Preferences> Viewer tab.
3. To view all computer monitors host, hold while selecting Scale-To-Fit
mode in the View menu.



Connecting to a multi-monitor host PC with a multi-monitor computer score
1. Log in to connect to your host PC.
2. Change to full-screen mode to see the two monitors now reaches and clicking on the maximize / minimize the window in the upper right corner of the

Mini --
The mini-feature displays a reduced version of your host PC monitor (s) and is
useful when you need to navigate quickly to a different area on the host PC.
To navigate with the mini-window
1. From the viewer window, press and hold the your keys keyboard, then click the mouse button to display the mini-window.
2. Click and drag the red zone to navigate to another part of the display host PC.
3. Release the mouse button to close the window minimap.




Universal Viewer
The Universal Viewer allows you to view your host PC from any computing device
and operating system that supports Java, including Mac, Linux and Solaris or Windows
computers computers that do not accept files download.
This feature is particularly useful if you use an Internet kiosk. To help
ensure the greatest ease of use, universal viewer has a limited number of features and does not
include support for the son, chatting, clipboard, remote printing, file transfer / Sync or drag
and drop file transfer Equipment or Viewer.
There is nothing you have to do to enable the viewer universal. It will appear
automatically during the connection process if you use an operating system other than Windows connect to your PC, or if you use a Windows PC that does not downloadable files.
To help ensure your safety when you use the universal viewer, you're out of
your GotoMyPC session whenever you visit a new Web page, exceed your inactivity

Universal Viewer shortcut
The Shortcut feature adds a shortcut to the client computer browser bookmarks
or favorites folder. The keyboard is very convenient for users who frequently use the same
computer client access the same host PC (for example, go to a work PC from a computer at home).
The shortcut saves time by directing you to enter access code window without passing through the
browser / password login page.
To create a shortcut to the viewer Universal
1. Start a session as described above.
2. The Universal Viewer window, choose File, then click Create a shortcut "PC Host

Note: If your browser does not support automatic creation of bookmarks, a link
will be provided which can be pasted into a bookmark. Simply create a bookmark on your browser then right-click the new
bookmark and select Properties. Replace the bookmark link with the link provided.

Resize your host PC image
You can choose to change the size of the image of your desktop PC within the
Universal Viewer. You have a choice of options to adjust your image size to actual size,
scale or Fit Focus on.

Lock and unlock your host PC Send with Ctrl-Alt-Del
Sending Ctrl-Alt-Del feature can be used to lock and unlock a host PC. For please more information see the sections titled remotely unlock your host PC distance and lock your host PC.

GotoMyPC PocketView

PocketView ™
GotoMyPC PocketView allows you to access your security of your home PC
compatible handheld device. GotoMyPC PocketView includes support for use of a stylus,
scrolling and the largest scale, and the portrait or landscape orientation.
To help ensure the greatest ease of use, GotoMyPC PocketView does not include
Sound, Chat, remote printing and file transfer / Sync.
There is nothing you have to do to enable GotoMyPC PocketView. It will be
automatically Selected during the connection process, if you use a device with an operating
supported system to connect to your host PC.
Note: To use GotoMyPC PocketView, see Requirements at the beginning of this
guide. Please note that performance will depend on the speed of the device connected to the Internet.


Access to your host PC using PocketView
When you go to your host PC using a compatible device PocketView, follow the
same procedure which is indicated for use with a desktop computer.
For remote access to your host PC
1. In your Web browser, type www.gotomypc.com.
2. Enter your e-mail account and password and click Connect.
3. PocketView users will need to click on the Download link to start the download.
Select box to open the file after downloading. Overwrite the file if it already
exists. Click Yes.
4. When prompted, enter the host PC's access code and click OK.
5. The host PC image will appear in the window PocketView.
6. You are now connected to your PC host, and are ready to begin access to all
your files, applications and e-mail as if you were sitting at your PC!

Use PocketView
To scroll quickly to another area on your desktop
1. Press Round navigation button in the toolbar to bring the viewer into
development screen so you can easily see your entire desktop.
2. Click on a portion of the screen where you want to scroll and you will be
returned to your zoom level precedent, but centered at the place where you clicked.

To scroll the image host PC
.. Press and hold the stylus on the edge of the screen to scroll in that
direction. Scrolling will stop when the stylus is released. When dragging a selection on the host PC, if
you drag the stylus along the screen, PocketView will automatically begin so that the
scroll you can select non-obviousness the home screen.

For a right-click
1. Press the right mouse button mode button and press the next will be a

PocketView Usage recommendations
Choose a device that is suitable for you:
1. A Pocket PC, Windows Mobile or Windows CE device WiFi offers the fastest access.
2. A Pocket PC Phone Edition or Windows Mobile Phone Edition device allows access
more the largest geographical area.
3. An external keyboard or integrated into the keyboard is recommended if you
enter text often.
4. A Windows Mobile device with high resolution (VGA) display is recommended for
easier viewing.

Maximize your experience PocketView:
1. Right-click on the icon GotoMyPC on your computer and select Preferences. Under
the Home tab, turn on the next option:

The use of characteristics GotoMyPC
GotoMyPC is easy to use and comes with a complete set of features to help you
make the most remote access to your PC. The following are several key features you want try. Most functions are accessible via the display, other features are
available from the system tray, which is usually located in the lower right corner of your
screen near the clock. Some functions are incompatible with certain operating systems.
Please see Focus on Requirements at the beginning of this document for more information.
Note: If you are a user GotoMyPC business, your ability to access features May
be disabled by your administrator. If you are unable to access a function, please contact your administrator for more
details.

Printing distance
The printing function remote lets you print documents that are on your PC to
your local client computer printer. From your client computer, you can print
documents a host application that May not be installed on the client computer.
There are two ways to set up a remote printer:
.. The GotoMyPC printer (recommended) is a quick and efficient method of printing
files your client computer's default printer. Simply select the GotoMyPC's Printer Printer pull-down menu and print as you normally would. Please see the section
titled GotoMyPC printer for more details.
.. Printing with GotoMyPC printer is recommended for most jobs, but be May situations (for example, printing checks or other cases where precision is
needed) where you want to manually activate a specific printer. This process requires that you
first set up the type of client computer printer on the host PC. Please see the section
entitled manually Turn on a printer for more details.
Note: To simplify the remote-configure the printer, we recommend that you
configure a printer, while connected to your host computer from a client computer.



Printer GotoMyPC
When you connect to your host PC, GotoMyPC Printer function automatically
detects the printers available on your client computer. In selecting the GotoMyPC Printer
print window, you run the print job to your client computer's default printer.
To print from the client computer
1. Open your file and select Print from your application's File menu.
2. Make sure the printer is GotoMyPC, select the printer in the menu.
3. Click OK to print on your computer score of the default printer.

















To change the local printer that GotoMyPC printer for printing on
1. From the viewer menu, select File, then select the printer GotoMyPC.
2. Select the printer you want the printer to print GotoMyPC.
3. Back to the client application and print the document in selecting the GotoMyPC Printer.










Manually turn on a printer
If you want to manually activate a printer and bypass the GotoMyPC printer, you
will be asked in the first round of the type of client computer printer on the host PC.
Some printers require a reboot the host PC configuration. This requires the
start GotoMyPC preferably be placed automatically start: Right-click on the icon in the system
tray of your Host PC and select Preferences, then host. Under START GotoMyPC, check the
"automatic" and select "After the start."
Note: Add Printer Wizard will not be able to detect the type of printer if you
try to install the printer system tray while you are not in session. The installation process remote
printing varies operating system and access to printer drivers. If you do not have the
necessary printer driver on your PC, you May need to download the driver manufacturer's Web site before they can complete
the installation of a remote printer.
To manually install a printer to the client computer connected to the distance,
while
1. From the window of the viewer, right-click on the icon in the system tray and
select Preferences.
2. On the Preferences menu, select Print.
3. Click the Add Printer.
4. On select a printer set up screen, the menu automatically selects the default printer (from your Printers folder) installed on your client
computer. If you want to select another printer, click on the menu and select the printer
you want to put in place.
5. Click OK.
6. The Add Printer Wizard screen opens. Notices GotoMyPC the setup instructions
printer Tips window attached to the left of the Add Printer wizard screen. Please pay
particular attention to this menu during the setup process, it will provide assistance in
setting up a GotoMyPC printer. Click Next.
7. On the local branch or a network printer, select the local printer. Make sure
Plug and Play automatic detection is not selected. Click Next.
8. On the Select the Printer Port screen, scroll down and select the GoToPort.
Click Next.
9. On the Installing the printer software, select the manufacturer and model of
your printer. Click Next.
Note: Start by selecting the manufacturer and then select the printer model
that is closest to the model that you have. If you do not find a match, May you need to download the driver from the
manufacturer's Web site. Once you have downloaded the pilot (make sure it is the right driver for your
host PC operating system), click Have Disk button, navigate to where you have downloaded the pilot selected
driver and click OK.
10. In the name of your printer screen, enter the name of the printer. We recommend
that you keep the "GotoMyPC" preface to the printer name to help you identify the
printer in the future. Select No if asked to define this printer as default printer. Click
Next.
11. Sharing the printer screen, select Do not share this printer. Click Next.
12. On the screen Test Print, select Yes if you are connected remotely, select No
if not. Click Next.
13. Click Finish.


Note: If your PC is the operating system Windows 2000, XP or Vista and you want
to manually activate a printer, please Ensure that you have administrator rights when you update / install GotoMyPC.


Transferring files
File Transfer allows you to quickly and easily transfer files between your PC
and the customer computer. You can use the file transfer or you can drag and drop files by
simply clicking on a file and dragging between computers.
To transfer files
1. From the viewer menu, choose Tools, then transfer or synchronization Files. Or you can click on the folder Transfer button at the top on the right of the viewer window. The file transfer and synchronization window opens. The host PC files are in the left pane, the customer computer files on the right.
2. For the computer you want upload files, navigation and select the folder to store files transferred.
3. For the computer you want file transfer, look and select the file or folder you want to transfer and click on the Forward
button or drag and drop the desired files to your destination.
4. Click Done in the File Transfer status window when complete.



To drag and drop files
.. To drag and drop files directly between your host and the client simply drag a
file or folder the viewer your local computer (or vice versa) to start the copy.






Note: If you are having trouble finding files to send, or find the files you
sent, it is probably due to the use of a user profile, which occurs most often with Windows 2000. To transfer files stored in
your office or retrieve files you transferred to your computer, you will need to seek the appropriate folder in
your user profile. Windows 2000 users: go to C: Documents and Settings, then your user name, then Desktop.
Note: If you are having difficulty transferring files of Windows Vista, you may
try to transfer files in a folder that requires the privilege elevation. To transfer these
files, first transferring them to a folder you permission to write, and then move them to their final destination using
Windows Explorer.
File Synchronization
The feature in case you can easily synchronize the contents of the file between
the host PC and client computer throughout the session. Since File Sync is bi-directional, the
files are transferred within two direction until both sides match. When files with the same name exists on both
ends, you the ability to copy new files, copy the file or skip over the file.
To synchronize files
1. From the viewer menu, select Tools, then transfer or synchronization Files. Or you can click on the file transfer at the top on the right of the Viewer window.





The file transfer and synchronization window opens. The host PC files are in the left pane, the client computer files on the right.
2. Double-click the folder you want to synchronize on the host PC to that the content is displayed in the left pane.
3. Then double-click the folder you want to synchronize on the client computer to that the content is displayed in the window right.
4. Click Sync Views of file transfer and synchronization window.

















5. From the window of confirmation of synchronization, describe how you prefer to
deal GotoMyPC different files with the same name.
6. Click Continue to begin synchronization.


Repeat a recent file synchronization
Select one Repeat recent synchronization folder shortcut to save time surfing
the individual files on your PC host and client computer. This feature displays a list of the
last choice three synchronizes for the speedy execution.
To repeat a recent file synchronization
1. From the viewer menu, select Tools, then repeat a recent file synchronization.
2. Select a folder of a pair of the last three files are synchronized.
3. Confirm the file locations and indicate how you prefer to handle different

Remote Sound
GotoMyPC now supports one-way sound of your PC to your client computer. The
sound settings can be optimized for system sounds or music based on your sound card,
staff preferences and the speed of your network connection. Temporary adjustments to
your -- session sound settings can be made directly from the viewer window. Adjustments
to your sound settings can be made at any time in the Preferences window or directly from the
button of its in the upper right corner of the window of the viewer.


To change your sound preferences
1. Click on the sound in the upper right corner of the window of the viewer.
2. Select the parameters of sound in the menu.
3. From the Sound tab change your sound settings and click OK.


His Options
.. At my session begins: Select your choice on sound settings startup. Select the Disable sounds best option for system performance. If you intend to listen music, select Use a high quality sound.
.. Sound options: Choose your audio source preferred or leave GotoMyPC detect the source automatically. If you wish, GotoMyPC can automatically disable the Sound feature if a slow connection is detected. For session privacy, leave the "Mute speakers in the host country PC session "option.

The manual option on the Sound Options drop-down list is not recommended for
typical use. When this option is selected, GotoMyPC sound documents of Windows by default,
without recording device the evolution of assets of entry or volume. If these inputs are not configured
properly sound May not work or have a poor quality.
Please see the Troubleshooting Sound questions for more information on the
characteristic sound.
Note: If you listen to music on your host PC, be sure to stop music before
disconnecting your session. If you do not stop the music on the host PC before disconnecting, music will no
longer be cut and could be heard by very close to your host PC.
Note: To optimize the quality of the music, install the latest approved Windows
Media Player on the host PC and the customer computer.
Note: The sound of high-quality option is not currently available on Windows
Vista. The sound is not available with Universal Viewer or PocketView.
Note: May GotoMyPC software be used to access documents on a remote computer.
It is authorized by you only for access remote computers to which you are authorized to access or use, and access to
non-rights those for which you own the copyright, or materials you are authorized or
legally authorized to access. If you are Doubts about your right to access any material you should contact your legal
advisor.

Session Performance
Any remotely connected to your PC, you can check your session performance and
advice for improving the performance.
Note: GotoMyPC will automatically disable Windows Vista Aero Glass theme to
maintain an optimal level of performance.
To view your performance session
1. In the GotoMyPC Viewer window, click Help in the top menu.
2. Select session performance.
3. Your session performance will be displayed for the host PC which you are connected.



















Shows time behind the Last 10 minutes.
The performance graph below changes you move your cursor on the bar blue reflect performance your host PC, client computer, and the Internet.
Select this to view performance the last 10 minutes or click drop in the menu sight performance of any Previous 10 sessions.

Guest Invite
The Guest Invite feature allows you to ask someone else to consult the office
of your PC while you are physically present to your host PC.
To invite someone to your host PC
1. Right-click the system tray and select Guest invite to a PC.
2. When prompted, enter the e-mail client you want to invite. Or you can select an e-mail from a list of recently invited by clicking on the menu.
3. Add or customize the message to be sent to your guest (optional).
4. From the menu, select the time when the invitation expires.
5. Click on Send.


















6. When prompted, enter the e-mail and password you use to connect to GotoMyPC.
7. Click OK.
8. Your invitation is sent to your guest, who will receive it by e-mail. Click OK
to close send the notification.

Note: You must be your host PC to invite a person to connect. After you send an
invitation, you can check time on the invitation or cancel it by right-clicking the system tray and
selecting Guest invited. You can invite clients on any operating system and GotoMyPC provide the viewer.

Sign up for a guest
To accept the invitation, your client will need to click on the link activation
included in the invitation e-mail. If your guest accepts the deadline, you receive an assessment notice
arrived.
To connect with the customer on your host computer
1. In the Guest arrived window selected check box corresponding to give your guest read-only access or remote control access to your computer.
2. Uncheck the box sound if you do not want to your guests to hear the sound on your PC.
3. Click OK.
A window will appear on your desktop and your guests will be able to view your office with a window of the viewer on his desk.







Change access guest
May you change your guests access or disconnect the session at any time.
To change guest access your host PC
1. Right-click the system tray and select Guest Connected.
2. Select the level of access or disconnect the session.













Cat
Chat is a feature that allows you to communicate with a guest you are invited
to your computer. To communicate with chat, just enter your text in the text input
field and click Send or press the key on your keyboard. The online dialogue is
automatically displayed once your client is connected.
To open an online dialogue
.. From the viewer menu, select Tools, then Chat.


The cat will appear on both the PC host and client computer.

To end Chat
.. At both the host and client window, just close box by clicking on the top right corner of the "cat" Dialog.



Tools drawing guest session
The drawing tools feature allows you and your guests to use a mouse to draw or
highlight on screen for greater communication.
Note: The drawing tools feature is only accessible while connected to a client.
To use a drawing tool
1. To access the tools drawings of the guest's Viewer window, choose Tools, then Drawing tools. Or the customer can click on Tools drawing in the upper
right-hand corner of the viewer window.





To access the drawing tools of the host computer, right-click on the icon in
the system tray Tools and select drawing.
2. Select the tool and click and drag the mouse to draw on the screen.











To clear drawings
.. One of drawing tools activated, right-click on the screen and select Clear all plans.
This will erase your drawings, but you in the drawing mode.



To leave the drawing mode
.. Press or right click on the screen and select the mouse Tools menu design to leave the drawing mode.



Cut / Copy and Paste
The cut / copy / paste, you can cut / copy and paste text between the host PC
and client computer.
To cut / copy and paste text
1. Select the text you want to cut or copy left you by clicking on the mouse and
dragging the cursor over the text.
2. Right click your mouse on the selected text and choose Cut or Copy.
3. Place your mouse to the location where you want to paste the text to the left
and click the button mouse.
4. Click the right mouse button and select Paste.


Note: The cut / copy and paste has a text-only up to 32kb of data.


Desktop Shortcut
The Desktop Shortcut feature adds a shortcut to the computer desktop client
that connects directly your host PC to enable quick and easy access to the PC. Shortcut office is
convenient for users who frequently use the same client computer to access the same PC host
(for example access Work PC from a computer at home). The shortcut to save time by directing you to
access Enter Window code without going through the browser / password login page.
To create a shortcut office
1. Log in to connect to your PC remotely hosted the client computer on which you want to create the desktop shortcut.
2. From the client computer Viewer window, choose File, then create a shortcut "PC Host Name."
3. Click Yes to authorize the establishment of an office shortcut.
4. Enter your account password and click on Continue.
5. Click OK.
A desktop shortcut will be created on your computer desktop client.


Note: The first time you use a shortcut from a client computer, you will be
asked to confirm your account enter your e-mail and password. If this first time you connect is successful,
subsequent uses shortcut on the desktop the client computer will not require authentication. The Create a shortcut menu
in the File menu is not visible when a customer is connected to your PC for a Guest Invite session so that
guests can not create shortcuts for their computers cheers. You can cancel all the shortcuts from your PC by clicking on
the Modify My Science.
To access your office PC using a shortcut
1. From the computer desktop client, double-click the GotoMyPC Desktop shortcut icon.
2. When prompted, enter the access code for your host PC.
The connection GotoMyPC begin.

To cancel all desktop shortcuts to your host PC
1. Connect to your GotoMyPC my computers.
2. On the page of my computers, click Edit next to the name of the computer to
which you want revoke all desktop shortcuts.
3. Then click the button Revoke, which cancels all shortcuts to your host PC.


Note: If you are a company GotoMyPC user account, your ability to access
features May be disabled by your GotoMyPC administrator account. If you are unable to access a function, please contact
your administrator account for more details.
Reconnect
GotoMyPC warns you if a session is about to be disconnected due to inactivity. If prompted, simply click Keep active to keep the session active, otherwise click Disconnect the button to end the session.
If your session is timed-out, you are given an option to begin a new session by clicking on the reconnection of the The inactivity window. If you used the function of Shortcut begin the session, you are directed to quickly access code Enter window.

Remember me
Remember me function allows you to set a cookie in your browser that
automatically record to a specific account GotoMyPC - without the need for you to enter your email
and Passwords - simply by returning to GotoMyPC website.
To enable Remember me
1. From the client computer on which you want to activate the feature Remember me
- log to your account GotoMyPC.
2. Click on the My Account link in the navigation bar on the left.
3. Check Remember me.
4. Enter your current password to make changes.
5. Click on Save Changes.














Note: The use of the Remember Me feature requires that cookies be enabled for
your browser (please see your browser Help for instructions on how to enable cookies). To use the feature Remember
me, you must close your browser by clickingthe button in the upper right corner
of the browser window, or choosing File and select Close on the menu.

To disable Remember me
1. From the client computer on which you want to activate the feature Remember me,
log to your account GotoMyPC.
2. Click on the My Account link in the navigation bar on the left.
3. Remember uncheck the box next to me disappear.
4. Enter your current password to make changes.
5. Click on Save Changes.




In meeting Restart (GotoMyPC business only)
During the session restart function allows you to restart your PC remotely and
connect it with your login Windows. It is a unique feature Auditors who shared the Access functionality. Since the session in relation to restart is not a
default, it must first be activated by your administrator to the user or group in the hotel GotoMyPC Center.










See access activity report
Access Activity Report allows you to view your login account for a selected
day. The report will indicate the source of the connection, the time it occurred, IP
address, type of access and duration of the connection.
To view access Activity Report
1. Sign in to your account GotoMyPC www.gotomypc.com.
2. Click on the link my computers in the left menu.
3. Click on the link access activity in the left menu.
4. Select the desired date for the activity of access to resources.
5. Click on Show access activity button.



A password-time
The use of a password-time (OTPs) offers an additional level of security that
can protect you then you use public terminals May that loggers keyboard or other input keys hardware or software. Our Time-A system of passwords to ensure that a password
is discovered needless to the person who discovers.
A password-time consist of six words, and every word of six provides a
combination -- time access to a host PC. Password lists are numbered in reverse order of
highest to lowest and finally zero.
The use of a password-time allows you to generate a list of a password-time you will be invited to come after you enter your PIN each time you go to your host
PC.
Note: Your administrator May require that you use a password-time. The One-Time
password function can not be used in conjunction with the function to share access.
To activate a password-time
1. Though physically present at the host computer you want to activate a
password-time right-click the system tray and choose Preferences.
2. Click on the tab Authentication, and then click Activate OTPs.
3. On the Generate a password-time dialog box, select the number of One-Time To generate passwords (min. 10, max. From 99) and click OK.
4. Enter on the box Access Code, enter the access code for the host PC and click
OK.
5. On Print a password-time list dialog box, select the font size to print and
click the Print button.
6. Check your list of One-Time Password and printed click Close.
7. On the GotoMyPC Dialog Preferences click OK.
You have now enabled use One of passwords-time your PC and you'll be prompted to enter an OTP the next time you go to your PC host of a client computer.




To go to your host PC using a password-time
1. Point your web browser to www.gotomypc.com.
2. Enter your e-mail address and account password and click Connect.
3. If prompted, select the account you want to access and click OK (applies only
if you have multiple accounts associated with an e-mail).
This will instruct your My Computers.
4. To the right of the computer Nickname, click Connect.
5. When prompted, click Yes or a patent for download GotoMyPC Viewer.
6. When prompted, enter the host PC's access code and click OK.
7. When prompted, enter the six asked for a password-time and click OK.
8. The host PC image will appear in the Viewer window.
You are now connected to your host PC and are ready to start access to all your
files, applications and e-mail as if you were sitting at your PC!

To generate a new list of One-Time password
1. Though physically present at, or linked to the host PC for which you want to
generate a new list of One-Time password, right-click the system tray and choose Generate a password-time.
2. On the Generate a password-time dialog box, select the number of One-Time To generate passwords (min. 10, max. From 99) and click OK.
3. Enter the access code dialog box, enter the access code for the host PC and
click OK.
4. On Print a password-time list dialog box, select the font size to print and
click the Print button.
5. Make sure that your list of One-Time password has been printed and click Close.


Note: You can generate a new list of One-Time password at any time while OTPs
have available. If you use all your OTPs before generating a new list, you have to go back to your host PC to
generate a new list or disable a Time password.
To disable a password-time
1. While the host PC for which you want to disable a password Meanwhile,
right-click the system tray and choose Preferences.
2. Click on the tab Authentication.
3. Click the Disable OTPs.
4. Click Yes on dialog warning you want to disable a password-time.
5. On the change Access Code dialog:
.. Enter your old access code.
.. Enter your new access code.
.. Confirm your new access code.
.. Click OK.

6. GotoMyPC on the Preferences dialog box click OK.


Note: To help protect your safety, you will be asked to change your access code
for your PC whenever you disable use of a password-time.

Permission home (GotoMyPC business only)
If you are a user GotoMyPC business, your administrator May ask you to demand authorization for your host PC before they can develop or gain access to host
PC. Authorization requires you to send your PC host the MAC address and the C: drive serial
number of your administrator.
To allow your PC to host a new host PC installation
.. At the end of the GotoMyPC corporate installation, you will be presented with a installation confirmation window, which will also provide you with the MAC
address and C: Drive serial number; copy the information and send them via e-mail to your
administrator. Your director authorize your host PC and should notify as soon as permission is complete.



To allow your PC to host a host PC
1. Though physically present at the host computer that you want to allow,
right-click on the icon the system tray and choose Preferences.
2. Click on the tab host.
3. Click authorization ID.
4. On the host authorization identification dialog, copy the MAC address and C:
Drive serial number and e-mail to your administrator.
5. Your administrator authorize your host PC and should notify as soon as the
authorization is complete.



Client Authorization (GotoMyPC business only)
If you are a user GotoMyPC business, your administrator May ask you to demand Authorisation your client computer before you can use to access your host PC. Authorization requires you to send your client computer address MAC and C:
Drive series number to your administrator.
To authorize a client computer
.. All the client computer that you want to allow access your company GotoMyPC account and start a connection to your host PC. Once the download process is completed and the viewer window appears, you will be notified that the client
computer requires a permit. Dialog notification contain the client computer MAC address and the C: drive serial number; copy the MAC address and the C: drive
serial number and e-mail to your administrator. Your administrator authorize your client
computer and should notify as soon as the authorization is complete.





Integration (RADIUS GotoMyPC business only)
If you are a user GotoMyPC business, your administrator to configure your May
GotoMyPC account to integrate radius.
RADIUS is a two-factor authentication method based on something you know (or a
password PIN) and you have something (authentication), providing a more robust user authentication.
Using RADIUS invites you to enter your titles RADIUS (PIN and token) after your access code each time you go to the host PC.
Note: integration RADIUS is only available if your administrator has
necessitated the use of RADIUS. This option will not be presented to users who are not configured for use RADIUS.

To configure RADIUS on your host PC
1. While the host PC that you want to enable RADIUS, right -- click on the icon in the system tray and choose Preferences.
2. Click on the tab Authentication.
3. Click on the Setup Zone button.
4. On the Zone set dialog, enter the RADIUS server name to the list by entering its host name or IP address, then click Add.
5. Enter your username RADIUS (user name in the RADIUS database).
6. Enter the encryption key RADIUS (provided by the system administrator).
7. Click on the button configuration test.
8. Once finished with the setup and testing, click OK to close the configuration
RADIUS dialog.
9. Click OK to close the GotoMyPC Preferences dialog.


Note: Before you can configure your PC host with RADIUS, your administrator
must allow you to view option configure RADIUS, which is on your GotoMyPC Preferences menu. Your
administrator May choose to configure your PC for you.


To connect to your host PC with RADIUS
1. Point your web browser to www.gotomypc.com.
2. Enter your e-mail address and account password and click Connect.
3. If prompted, select the account you want to access and click OK (applies only
if you have multiple accounts associated with an e-mail ID). This will load your
Informatique page.
4. To the right of the nickname of the computer you want to connect, click Connect button.
5. When prompted, click Yes or a patent for download GotoMyPC Viewer.
6. When prompted, enter the PC hosting the Access Code and titles of your RADIUS
(your PIN and Token token) and click OK.
7. The host PC image will appear in the Viewer window.
You are now connected to your host PC and ready access to all your files, applications and e-mail as if you were sitting at this computer!



To disable RADIUS
1. Though physically present at your PC, right-click the system tray and choose Preferences.
2. Click on the tab Authentication.
3. Click the Disable RADIUS.
4. On the change Access Code dialog:
.. Enter your old access code.
.. Enter your new access code.
.. Confirm your new access code.
.. Click OK.

5. GotoMyPC on the Preferences dialog box click OK.


Note: You can not disable use radius unless your administrator has disabled the
obligation to use RADIUS.



Setting Preferences
GotoMyPC has several options that can be configured to suit your personal
needs.
To set preferences
1. Right-click on the icon in the system tray on your host computer and select Preferences.
-- Or --
Access Preferences in the Tools menu Viewer.
2. Select the appropriate tab for all preferences you to customize.
3. Select your preferences.
4. Click OK.


Note: Your options May Preferences be affected by the type of operating system
you are using and the type of rights your user account allows. In gray options are not available for your choice of
operating system or rights assigned to your profile.

Preferences Home
The host preferences option lets you set the parameters for the host PC.
1. Choose how to start GotoMyPC:
.. Run automatically GotoMyPC: Launch GotoMyPC to boot your computer (default) or when you log (option for users with administrative rights). To
ensure maximum availability of the host PC, we recommend that you choose to begin
GotoMyPC automatically after the start.
.. Run GotoMyPC manually: Uncheck "automatically" and only start GotoMyPC when you start the application from your Programs menu.

2. Choose the options of office by logging on to:
.. Adjust automatically area home screen for best full-screen: If possible, resize host PC screen resolution to best match the client computer resolution.
.. Disable Sleep "on the host PC: disable Sleep" so PC host remains accessible.
.. Show host PC cursor: allows the display host two sliders and the customer.
3. Desktop Alerts (Personal and Pro only): makes access to Citrix products Updates online news, information and discounts that you May to be eligible.
4. Authorization ID (GotoMyPC business only): Provides the host PC MAC Address and
C: Drive serial number to use the host PC when the authorization is required by
administrators.
Note: MAC addresses can not be used when the authorization is the host PC or a
customer connects to the computer Internet via a modem because, unlike Ethernet and wireless network cards,
dial-up modems are not MAC addresses. In these cases, using the C: drive serial number
on the computer is the option if the host country or customer authorization is required.


Viewer Preferences
The viewer preferences option lets you set the parameters for the viewer
window.
1. Screen size:
.. Beginning desktop: You can choose to start the desktop or in full screen or window mode (Viewer) mode.
.. Show home screen: Choose to display the desk in full size image (May require Scrolling in the viewer) or scale to fit.

2. Viewer Options:
.. See the updated regions: Provides an overview around the area of the screen
that is redrawn when your Viewer refreshes its image.
.. Inactive Sunday when Viewer: Viewer DiMS your window each time you go to your local client computer window.
.. Copy and paste between computers: To cut, copy and paste text between the host
PC and client computer.

His Preferences
GotoMyPC supports a simple sound of your PC to your client computer. The sound settings can be optimized for system sounds or music based on your sound card,
staff preferences and the speed of your network connection.

Security Preferences
The security preferences option allows you to configure other security
settings.
Safety features:
.. At the lock off: Automatically lock your PC when you end GotoMyPC login.

Preferences authentication
The authentication preferences option lets you set the parameters for the host
PC access code, the use of a password-time (OTPs) and the configuration of integration
(RADIUS GotoMyPC Companies only.) If shared access feature is activated by your administrator,

Printing Preferences
Printing with GotoMyPC the printer is recommended for most jobs, but situations

To add or relocate a host PC to your account
1. Go to the PC you want to add to your account.

3. Click on the Install button to install GotoMyPC the PC.

Move host PC between accounts
